SATP Wants to Hear From You!
Saskatchewan Association of Theatre Professionals is pleased to announce that this fall, we are undertaking our first-ever comprehensive member consultation.
The goal of this consultation is to hear from as many of our members as possible, to get a better understanding of what our members feel we as an organization are doing well, what purpose SATP serves in our community, and how SATP can improve in the future.
This consultation consists of three parts:
ONE - Survey
For members and non-members alike, this survey is a comprehensive way for us to get some straightforward answers from Saskatchewan theatre practitioners, administrators, and educators about questions we have as an organization.
This survey contains about 65 questions, and it will likely take you approximately 10-20 minutes to complete. Your feedback will be gathered anonymously unless you choose to share your contact information for further connection. Thank you for putting in the time and thoughtfulness to help us improve!
SURVEY CONTEST: If you would like to be entered to win 2 tickets to a local theatre show of your choice in the location of your choice, enter your email at the end of the survey (emails will only be used for the contest and will not be linked with your anonymous feedback unless you so choose).
Contest Rules:
The show of your choice must take place between January 1-June 30, 2025
The show of your choice must take place in Saskatchewan.
The show of your choice must be produced by a Saskatchewan company (ex. Come From Away is a touring show coming to Saskatoon this fall from outside of Saskatchewan - this would NOT be an option).
SATP will NOT cover any travel, accommodations, or additional costs for you to attend this show.
The draw for the winner will take place in December 2024.
We will be accepting surveys until November 29, 2024
TWO - Town Halls
We will be holding three town halls between September and November - one in Regina and two online (see dates below). These are opportunities for our membership and the provincial theatre community at large to come together and discuss the issues that are most important to them; to give SATP feedback, and to ask questions. Members and non-members are welcome to come to any of the town halls, but we hope all members will attend at least one.
Register for the Zoom link for the third and final town hall on November 23, 2024 at 1:00pm CST, here.
THREE - One-on-Ones
One-on-one meetings with our members are a way for the SATP staff and board to connect more directly with our membership, get to know you, and hear about the topics you are most concerned/passionate about. We would love to sit down with as many SATP members - in person or over Zoom - as possible to get the most comprehensive view of what our diverse membership wants and needs.
