The 2018 Spring Festival of New Plays will be held in Saskatoon, May 23 to 26, 2018 at the Persephone Theatre Second Stage.

23rd:    7:00 Opening reception the lobby of Persephone Theatre

8:00 Excerpts from the SPC/Persephone Playwrights Unit

May 24th:        8:00 Bluebeard’s Chamberby Leanne Griffin

Directed by Esther Jun, Assistant Artistic Director, Tarragon Theatre

May 25th:        8:00 Dischargeby Andy Carlson-McNab

Directed by Del Surjik, Artistic Director, Persephone Theatre

May 26th:        2:00 Between Dog and Wolfby Terry Jordan

Directed by Vern Thiessen, Artistic Director, Workshop West

May 26th:            8:00 The Art of French Cooking by Madeleine Blais-Dahlem

Directed by Yvette Nolan, Playwright, director, dramaturge,

Festival Dramaturge: Natasha MacLellan, Artistic Director, Ship’s Company Theatre

Plays that have received workshops with the Spring Festival of New Plays have gone on to be performed locally, nationally, and internationally. Mark your calendars for May 23rd to 26th. It is going to be a great time.
