What: "The Othered Nomad" is an original play by Ayesha Mohsin. The story revolves around two dancers from the outskirts of a South Asian society. These dancers belong to a nomad-dancer community. During the performance, the audience will experience a unique narrative with an outside perspective which includes the dancer's everyday lives narrated through “Kathak'' dance and the society they exist in. Experience this play to gaze into the dancer's defense mechanisms through Kathak, Urdu language and Animation against the society they exist in as “The Othered Nomad!”
