Call for Proposals - Dance on the Saskatchewan Series 2018

Dance Saskatchewan is calling for proposals from its members to develop and direct one of 5 performance events known as the ‘Dance on the Saskatchewan Series’. In the past there have been a variety of themes that included a musical theatre night, multicultural themes, a dance party and a performance by emerging and professional dancers.

There is an expectation that proposal will reflect the strategic priorities of Dance Saskatchewan. By example, the proposal may include responding to the ‘Calls to Action’, collaborative work that is inclusive of the varied and diverse membership, incorporate opportunity for audience engagement in pre or post performance activity, and is inclusive of the dance community from outside of Saskatoon.

The venue includes access to some green space on the grounds, a covered area with limited outdoor seating, the main stage tent with seating for approximately 300. Stage dimensions etc. will be finalized over the next few weeks and as most are aware this is not a typical dance venue.
