Workshop Series

Saskatchewan Association of Theatre Professionals presents
our 2025-2026 Workshop Series!

We are excited to bring you a variety of workshops this year to boost your skills, answer your burning questions, and teach you something you might not have had the opportunity to learn before. We will be trying different delivery methods, locations, and content this year to get feedback on what you, our members, need and benefit from most.

Member pricing: $10/workshop or $20 for 3
Non-members: $40/workshop or $80 for 3

If finances are a barrier to your attendance, please contact judith@sasktheatreprofessionals.ca
If you can donate the fee for someone else to attend (a Pay-It-Forward Pass), we will have that option available when registration opens.

This series will evolve as we learn from you, our members. So let us know if you need to learn something, if you have something to share with the community, or if you know of someone who could teach SK artists a cool new thing or two. We will be trying different delivery methods, locations, and content this year to get feedback on what you need and benefit from most.

Workshop: Producing Best practices

When: November 28, 2025 - 1:30 PM
Location: The Centre (C-SET) - Room 179, Riddell Centre, University of Regina
Cost: FREE for members & non-members

Our first workshop will take place on November 28, 2025 in Regina, SK at 1:30pm. We will be having a panel discussion around Producing Best Practices, hosted by C-SET (Centre for Socially Engaged Theatre) at the University of Regina in their beautiful space.

Our panelists for this workshop will be Ibukun-oluwa Fasunhan, Landon Walliser, and Gabrielle Dufresne who all bring a wide variety of producing experiences to the table! The discussion will be moderated by our Executive Director, Judith Schulz, and there will be plenty of time to answer all your burning questions, so come ready with some tricky ones!

There is no cost for this workshop, but we will have goodies for you if you let us know you’re coming! Simply email lizw@sasktheatreprofessionals.ca to say “I’m coming to the Producing Workshop!” by November 26, 2025 at 11:59pm

If you don’t get a chance to register but still want to come, please do!

Accessibility Information: Due to limited resources, we will not be recording or streaming this workshop. We know this limits who can attend and we do plan to have some workshops in this series be virtual.

Directions: Enter into the main doors of the Riddell Centre. Once you enter the lobby, turn right. Take an immediate left through the navy set of double doors. Walk down this hallway until you reach room 179.
